Not Your Normal Prius
Ive been in the Scion Scene for 6 years and throughout these years I have seen a lot of people come and go from selling the rides, but there is one person that after he lost his 1st Gen Scion xB in an accident he still comes around and that gentlemen is Rodney Esteban of Lakewood, CA. When he lost his xB I only pondered what he was going to build next and the day I saw him post up pictures of the 2010 Toyota Prius I thought why did he go he with that and was he done modifying cars, but he proved me wrong. I turned into a Prius you that would for sure catch your attention on the streets, parked in a random parking lot, especially a car show.
The first thing that really caught my eye was one of his first modifications which made is stand out from others and it really makes the exterior so fresh is the FIVE:AD Body kit and whats makes the exterior flow with this kit are th
e FIVE:AD S6:F 18X7.5 in the bronze color. A lot of people are not a fan of bags on any cars and say static is the way to go along with the stance, but Rodney's Prius is running the Air Runner Suspension Super Low Down Version setup and sits just perfect tucking those Five:AD wheels. His exterior is just the perfect look for a Toyota Prius and the other thing you don't see too well in pictures, but in person his also has the rear dry deck and roof done up in dry carbon which I personally like a lot because it stands out.
Not only the exterior is not the only thinking catching the public's eyes, but if your at a car show or see this Prius parked take a look at the interior of it gives a luxury look to it with Bellezza luxury curtains and steering wheel cover. When you think luxury feel you gotta think how comfortable it's got to be with the whole interior done up with Clazzio products which from what I hear has great seat covers and what not. I have yet to deal with Clazzio products, but I hear they are a great company to deal with as customer service and the quality of the products are just excellent.
Rodney has been part of plenty of shows and he was able to be part of SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in 2011 to showcase the work that has been put it to such an amazing and clean Prius. Keep your eyes open for Rodney's Toyota Prius as it will be attending CES in January 2012 in the Powerbass booth. Can't wait to see picture's of his audio setup when it's done.
